Publisher review:Find Delay and Align Signals blocks - These two blocks determine the delay between two signals in a Simulink model. The Find Delay block accepts two signals of like type (e.g. complexity, frame size, dimensionality, sample time, number of samples per symbol, etc.) and computes the delay between the two signals, in samples. The Align Signals block computes delay and time aligns the two signals.
The blocks are useful in Comms simulations when filters, encoders, decoders, and other components add delay to a signal. When counting errors using the Monte Carlo technique, the reference signal and the received signal must be aligned in time, and these two blocks facilitate the alignment. The download includes a .dll file. It must be placed in $matlabroot oolboxcommblkscommmex for the blocks to work. Place the two M-files in $matlabroot oolboxcommblkscommmasks. Requirements: · MATLAB Release: R13 · Communications Toolbox · Communications Blockset · Signal Processing Blockset · Signal Processing Toolbox · Simulink
